Movement has been a part of me since childhood, which is why I graduated from the Palestra sports school after secondary school of economics, during post-baccalaureate studies at the secondary school of pedagogy. There, I worked comprehensively with the body, including health physical education. Even before studying at the Faculty of Law of the Charles University, I became an aerobics instructor in Bára Grefnetrová's studio. In 1983, I auditioned for a three-year course called Contemporary dance by Jiří Rebka. Subsequently, I started dancing in Jiří Rebek's Stage Dance Group, of which I had the honor of being a member and soloist for eight wonderful years. I became a Port de Bras instructor after completing the official Port de Bras instructor course with the author of this unique exercise method, the Spanish fitness trainer Julio Papi. What do I like so much about Port de Bras? It is the unique combination of dance and work with the body. In the same way as in Fit ballet, the connection of dance techniques and ballet elements with aerobic and strengthening exercises.
